I got married in the wonderful city of New York and whilst the day itself was perfect, the 6-12 months of planning were really tough. I had to trawl through pages and pages of Google and endless forums to figure out how to actually and legally get married in New York. I ended up doing emails and phone calls night and day (remember that time difference!) I also got very tangled up in the different prices with tax amounts, exchange rates and gratuity requirements.
